ABOUT
Jackie, also known as Jack O'lantern or J4CK13, is one of the main characters of Plant Life. They are some kind of a computer program/virus that was able to get a physical body, specifically the one that looks like a bunny.

She lives with its siblings, Klaw and Fork, in Belbun. He claims to not really remember anything about being in a computer, but glitch was probably some kind of a computer assistant that got a virus or had an error in its code. Doesn't really like to talk about that, though, so not much known about their past.

Jackie uses they/he/it/she/glitch pronouns with (usually) no preference. They identify as omnisexual and non-binary since she simply doesn't understand the concept of gender. (his confusion does not mean he doesn't respect other people's identities, though)
They don't really have an age and don't even seem to age, but they claim to be around 18-20. They don't know their original birthday, but always celebrate it on the last saturday of april since it was when he got a physical body.

HISTORY
J4CK13 is a computer program made to help creatures all around the world to learn how to use their computer. After 3.0.9 update, J4CK13 also became helpful in the Internet, teaching how to surf the net in a safe way and having protection mod installed. For years it helped parents who were worried about their children's safety and new computer users. It's been one of the most famous programs out there until someone sent a virus that infected J4CK13, which lead to it glitching - many said that the program deleted important files and gave access to the dark side of the net.
No matter how many updates it was getting, the virus could not be deleted. Eventually a new program was made - the one that was able to delete J4CK13, the virus and restore all the files, replacing the original program in the end and becoming a new (and better) assistant.

Years passed and it seemed like J4CK13 was long gone and forgotten, until one day someone found the disk while cleaning. After installing the program they were met with an error, claiming that there was a new update specifically for the new version of their computer. After agreeing with TOS, they updated the program but instead of it finding a new icon on their PC, they found a bunny in their room. That was when Jack got a physical body and for the first time in their life they were able to open their eyes.

When Jack got his body, he didn't understand many things - feelings, emotions, needs, etc. Every emotion and new feeling made him glitch a lot. For example, pain in his stomach from something called "hunger" made him scared, and being scared made him lag even more. Luckily, he met Leafy pretty soon, and since then she was helping him with understanding everything.

After getting used to most of things that you need to stay alive and not glitching every time someone slightly touches him, Jackie found out that he loves holding hands, hugging and talking to people, becoming the most talkative person Leafy ever met. (She did have to stop him after he tried something called "flirting" on some random person.)
He also found out that the best way to stop "hunger" and get "satisfaction" is to eat apples, so they became his favorite fruit pretty quickly. Leafy said that it's probably because he looks like an apple, but he didn't understand what she meant

APPEARANCE
His body has many different marks/tattoos that he got after getting a new body, which he's kind of ashamed of, since they show who he really is, so he tries to hide them under a few layers of clothes. The same with his left eye - it couldn't develop properly and it looks like there's a black void instead of an eyeball, so they hide it under his hair.

ABILITIES
Being literally "out of this world" gives him the ability to shape reality around him as they want to (IF they want to). But, on top of that, they are quiet unstable - they "glitch" or "lag" whenever they feel strong emotions/feelings they're not used to (example - love, anger or even simply tasting/smelling something new).

RELATIONSHIPS
LEAFY
Leafy was the first living creature Jackie ever met. She found a disk with their program while cleaning up in her mother's room and installed it, basically bringing Jackie in this world.
She taught him how to stay alive and what that even means. She helped him to get used to physical touch - when she first tried to grab his hand, he couldn't stop glitching for an hour or so. But she never turned away from him and always stayed by his side, determined to help him to learn how to be alive. And she did, which he is still grateful for.

KLAW
Klaw is one of the first creatures Jackie ever met. Despite being different, they became friends pretty fast, and even would call each other "sibling". Klaw knows about what Jackie is and about marks on their body, but he said he don't mind and it's just what makes him himself. Jackie appreciate it a lot and couldn't ask for a better friend and sibling than Klaw.

FORK
Jackie was the one who found Fork all alone after he was separated from his parents, and they tried to find them or any other relatives, but it was unsuccessful. Not knowing what else to do, Jackie decided to raise the kid by himself because Fork saw Jackie as his older brother since they were both bunnies. Pretty soon Klaw joined Jack in taking care of Fork, and since then they've been raising him together as their little brother.

LIMEY
Jackie and Limey are close friends. They first met when Jackie tried to "flirt" with him before Leafy stopped him and apologized, but Limey, being oblivious as always, thought they were just trying to make new friends - something Limey LOVES to do. After that they started hanging out more and quickly learned that they are very similiar and different at the same time - both are very talkative and love to flirt, but if Limey does it for fun, Jackie does it out of curiosity. They also love to argue about different things, for example what's better - apples or lemons. But those fights always end up in laughter - they can never be serious during this. Though those arguments can last for around 10 hours (they checked).

MEWTSU
Jackie and Mewtsu are good friends. Since Jackie is a very talkative person and Mewtsu is a good listener, they always talk about everything and nothing at the same time which helped them to become good friends eventually. Mewtsu doesn't know why Jack is so curious about simple things in their world, but she doesn't judge him - she's actually glad to help him understand how things work.

KYOKO
Jackie is on good terms with Kyoko, but they mostly had small talks rather than a normal conversation since they have very different interests and personalities. But she does help Jackie get new books for Fork all the time.
