Reed was born in Jane's mansion where he's being taken care of by her, her family, and Arthur the butler of the house. Reed is generally standoffish, the only person he really likes to spend time with the most is Jane. He usually spends his days taking in sunrays and playing games around the mansion. He's quite mischievous, which gets him in trouble a lot.

About

All seeds of Potnkts go though a process of scattering, the seeds are light and have fibrous like wings to catch the wind. It was a windy day and Reed rode on the gusts, going far away from his parents. He found his way to a lavender farm and ended up landing on freshly collected plants. During the process of the seeds being harvested from the lavender he got mixed in. It wasn't long after that he and all the other seeds where bagged and shipped off.

Jane, a rich lizard girl, ended up buying lots of lavender seeds for her mansion. Her and her family planted them all over her yard. It wasn't long until the sprouts came up that Jane spotted the Potnkt seedling. She never saw a creature like this so Arthur, Jane's family butler, had to explain it to her. Even after it was explained to her that these creatures can be dangrous she wanted to keep him as a pet, she was to become the main caretaker of the plant. It was then that plant officially got his name, Reed.

Growing Up

Instead of the garden, Reed's new home was inside the mansion in a potted plant. Caring for Reed was a challenge, most of his needs are what you would expect from a plant, but his eating habits where were very different. He could eat nearly anything, and things had to be kept out of reach. In general he was a wild plant and would even growl and hiss at people that came close, but due to being so small he couldn't do much.

These bad habits of Reed's needed to be corrected and both Jane and Arthur worked on that. Jane was friendly with Reed and tried a more delicate approach, such as rewards for good behavior. These worked somewhat but not as good as what Arthur did. He was more stern with him gave out punishments for bad actions a long with praise good ones. It took time but Reed did stop his growling, biting, and trying to eat random objects.

Jane also took it apon herself to teach Reed things, such as how to tallk, read and even do some basic math. She treated him like he was her own child.

Life Now

Reed is now gotten quite large and had to be moved to several different pots. The last one that he's in now was made to have holes in the bottom for his long vines to go though. He's able to use his vines as limbs, able to hold things and even move around. Thankfully at this point he is well mannered in what he eats so he only eats things that are food. Sadly this can't be said the same about his speech, he sometimes says snarky comments to people. Something that gets him in trouble often when noticed by his caretakers.
