Shion is one of the lords of the underworld and with great power comes great responsibility - which he seems to pass off to his secretary most of the time. Being a lord of the underworld is like running a business, and since Shion was born into business, he'd rather be running away. He's very bright and charismatic, definitely that of a person who has to deal with others a lot. When he actually does do work, he does it efficiently and precisely.
After finding the human Etel who had mysteriously fallen into his grand home, Shion has been discovering more about himself and humans. Completely fascinated with Etel and his story, he couldn't help but fall for him and wishes to woo him with something other than his underworld powers. He wishes to woo him as the simple demon, Shion.
His tail has been mistakenly possessed by a high ranked demon named Calcifer.
