Salem was born to an average family, growing up well off as an only child. They had always preferred to stay on their own, rather than with others. They later met Alaska from school, and the two began to hang out until they were close friends. Alaska got Salem to open up more, and the two often hung out with Alaska’s other friends.

Salem tends to isolate themself from others, although they’re much more open with Alaska. They’re very open-minded and empathic, but they don’t speak to others often. They have proved to make a good friend, though.
