Nefeli entered the Underworld at the age of 8. Her unusually strong desire to go home lent her semi-consciousness, allowing her to get away from Doom, awakening on the streets of the city. It was here that she met Life, who helped her reach the castle. 

Nefeli managed to get an audience with Alilam, the god overseeing the Underworld. He granted her a wish, which has led to her ability to use magic, as well as an increase in her physical abilities.

The Head of the guard, Chantal, is training Nefeli, in using both weapons and her powers. While her control still needs work, she shows great potential.
