After a scouting mission gone wrong, Blue Topaz was left stranded on Earth, and was found by a knight who was sent on a mission by his lord. After a little while of distrust, the knight took the gem in, unknowing of how powerful they were. She was taught about the Knight's Code of Honour, and chivalry, and took in the teachings as her own motto as she saw how well the knights were able to protect the people, and finding that she wanted to be able to do the same. She became a knight under the same lord, and served there until the lord and his knights were all slain in a battle; she wasn't aware of this, though, as she had been left to guard the citizens. Eventually, they all left for other cities, while she stayed vigilant and stood watch on the wall of the castle.
