rich kid weeaboo extraordinare. spends a lot of time online and runs a youtube channel (vlogs/beauty/etc.) with a decent sized following. he has a strong interest in learning languages* and does small fan translation works on the side. he spends most of his free time by himself, and struggles to make friends his age. he has a particular interest in jfashion/lolita

personality:

laurence much like his uncle, is a withdrawn, somewhat grumpy person. but unlike his uncle he hasn't completely lost the will to live. he's very comfortable around his family, but is on guard around new people he meets, which is a sharp contrast to his (lively, bubbly) online persona. he struggles to relate to his peers and prefers to socialize with his family instead. he has BPD and struggles with splitting/black and white thinking, frequently suffers from mood swings, and can become quite obsessive, particularly if something upsets him. although his mental health is precarious at best, he has good therapist and has lots of support, so he's responding well to treatment. he has a strong moral compass and always strives to do what he thinks is right

background:

laurence lives with his uncle, emmett, in central london. he goes to an affluent private school nearby, and is well known (for better and worse). he's an active member in his local lolita community, and goes to meet ups when he can.

other details:

• he's had surgery to reposition his esotropic eye, but it didn't last. it doesn't bother him too much so he doesn't see the point of fixing it again
