As the crown prince and heir to the throne of the fae court of moths, Magnus has always grown up with the knowledge that he would eventually be responsible for the wellbeing and safety of his people. He takes the implications seriously, and uses his time in ways he considers useful for his future role: reading, studying the politics of his neighboring kingdoms, and practicing his fae spellcraft to better understand the forest magics that guide them all. He attempts to be diplomatic in any situation, and this makes him appear a little soft and malleable, able to be suggested into any which way or another. Magnus is anything but than a pretty looking royal wallflower, however. His pacifism and calm demeanor hides a cool intellect and determination dedicated to the future of his people, and he is more than capable of playing the long game in order to achieve a better resolution. Magnus prefers the sharp barbs of conversation to physical confrontations, and his displeasure mostly comes out as a frosty indifference paired with several scathing comments.

Currently betrothed to the prince of the Moon Kingdom, he views this current arrangemtns as undesireable, but not truly catastrophic. His value as a bargaining chip in a treaty is great, and brokering peace and good relations with the proud heavenly kingdom will bring them all benefit in the long run, regardless of how little he is interested in being anyone's husband. He expects a tolerable relationship with his betrothed at worst and a warm friendship with them at best, and hopes only that the Moon Prince is open to meet him halfway in this endeavor.
