Intro
Anja is your one stop shop stoner dragon and healer extraordinaire! When he isn’t meticulously caring for his many various plants and herbs or using powerful magic to heal gravely injured dragons, he’s laying around high out of his mind.
While his demeanor is far from professional, Anja is an incredibly gifted healer and user of magic. He’s brought dragons back from the brink of death, and rather than making a big deal out of it, just sat back to smoke a blunt afterwards. He’s incredibly laid back on the whole, but a quietly capable man.

At a glance, Anja is your very typical stoner. He misunderstands simple statements, takes a few seconds to process things that have been said, and is generally very difficult to rile or ruffle. He takes life at a leisurely pace, rolling with whatever he’s given, and can generally find something to be optimistic about even in the worst scenarios. Hiding under his somewhat dim-witted facade, however, is a rather intelligent dragon with a real gift and passion for healing. He’s careful and methodical with his healing and plant husbandry, nearly obsessed with precision in these fields almost exclusively. In fact, one might argue that all of his energy going into these two fields is why he has none left for any other aspects of his life.
Going a little deeper still, when unaided by his various smokeable plants and herbs, Anja is actually quite prone to anxiety, particularly about himself. He’s insecure, and nervous, prone to withdrawing and bottling up his emotions rather than facing them head on.
Anja was born one of a set of identical twins, to a rather small family of dashers living in a fairly secluded part of the forest. While neither well known or grandiose, his family was part of a very long and ancient lineage of spirit guardians. That is to say, they were dragons who focused their magic on communicating with and dispelling ghosts and spirits that might haunt their fellow living souls. They took great pride in maintaining their sacred plot of land, and defending holy shrines and sites from evil spirits that might seek to taint them. Much to their parents dismay, neither Anja nor his brother had much of an aptitude for dealing with spirits.
Anja would eventually leave the safety of his family grove to pursue his passion of plant husbandry, gathering and growing herbs and breeding new strains. He took great care in this, for a while working as a traveling herbalist. It was during these travels that Anja discovered his natural gift for healing. It was not too far displaced from the cleansing magic his family had taught, but when applied to, say, healing the injuries of his fellow travelers when their caravan was attacked by shooter slavers, it worked wonders. Anja decided to extensively study healing magic, apprenticing himself under a master who helped him to refine his technique.
Eventually Anja bought a plot of land to set up his own garden and greenhouse around his healing facility, and has been situated there ever since, growing and selling various herbs (both for healing and recreation) and tending to the wounds of injured and sick dragons brought to him. He seems content with this life.

Healing
First and foremost is Anja’s skill in healing and healing magic specifically. While he prefers to cure more minor wounds and ailments with more traditional methods (herbs, bandaging, eating right and stretching properly), when faced with serious injury or open wounds, Anja can knit together torn flesh or mend broken bones on the spot using his magic. However this comes at a cost. Aside from a high energy requirement (overexertion can mean passing out or, if he continues to push it, death), in healing wounds Anja is often subject to reliving how the victims wounds were received, or living through the worst of their sickness, in a flash through his mind. It does not cause him physical harm, but it hurts like hell.
Plant Husbandry
While his magical influence over plant life is minimal, Anja only uses magic as a supplement to his natural dedication and skill. He takes a special interest in the plants he keeps, treating them very much like his children, carefully adhering to healthy light and water cycles and monitoring their growth with extreme care. Because of this, he reliably produces very healthy and potent herbs for all manner of uses.
Peacekeeper
A less honed skill but a skill nonetheless, Anjas natural tendency towards being lax and easygoing does have a tendency to affect those around him. Most folks can’t help but feel a little silly being over the top angry when the person next to them is so laughably chill about it. This, combined with Anjas forgiving nature and natural tendency to try and befriend everyone around him makes him ideal for diffusing tense situations. Plus, him always offering to pass a blunt around helps quite a bit too.

Currently Anja lives in his little private grove with his garden and greenhouses, breeding plants, smoking weed, and healing anyone who comes to him for help. He does not discriminate about who he helps, be it shooters or thieves or anyone else. His policy is that his door is always open. This has yet to cause him any major problems, but those who know him are waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Notes
- The plants that grow on Anjas antlers and tail are blueberry vines. He uses the leaves, flowers, and berries to make a magic infused tea blend that has incredible healing properties. It’s expensive, since he can only grow so much at a time, but drinking it will rapidly heal wounds for a short time.
- Anja is severely pyrophobic. This is not the result of an incident or trauma - he’s just always been afraid of it. The greenhouse going up in flames is his worst nightmare.
