Master of Bow

Christabel (or 'Krista' as she prefers) is a chosen hero of Sunvale, one of an elite few tasked to save the kingdom from the foretold army of the Silent Queen. There are fourteen heroes in total, and Christabel was recruited fourth. She is an expert marskman and huntress, and earned the prestigious title of Master of Bow through an archery tournament sponsored by the realm. Originally a nomad and freelancer, she finds it hard at times to work with the team, uncomfortable with relying on others. So much time working solo has left her poor at reading the strengths of others.

APPEARANCE

The Master of Bow is a slender, small-chested woman with a light build and long limbs. She is not the shortest member of the team, standing roughly 165cm, but she is one of the lightest (and some teasing is incurred due to it). Much of her focus strength-wise is in being able to perform acrobatic feats and fire her longbow, leaving her with remarkable endurance but few curves. She is dark-skinned with red eyes and hair, with some purple highlights throughout. Christabel is quick to assure the bold and curious that red eyes are a common trait for those borne in the Fortunate Isles (her homeland, and not a part of the Sunvale kingdom), and not a sign of supernatural origins.

This is a lie, but only partially. To clarify would frighten the already scared people of Sunvale!

A mossy green cloak with an engraved, golden clasp is the most common thing to find her wearing, the engraving being the insignia of the Fortunate Isles. Sometimes she sports a green cap, and her favoured trousers are an opalescent pair comprised of scales. It's rare to catch her without her quiver (much less her bow), and she carries pouches with a variety of herbs and powders. Sandals are preferred, but frequent trekking through forestry has led to wearing boots when venturing beyond the city walls.

PERSONALITY

Christabel has very poor social skills, and can come across as aloof because of it.
