mostly a straightforward and deadpan person, places a lot of emphasis on routines (early to bed, early to rise), but also very diligent and aware of his surroundings and the people around him. usually makes sure everyone is safe and healthy. also doesn't really get jokes. occasionally overworks himself, but hides it-- he doesn't seem to know the meaning of slacking off
originally was the son of a poor farming family. lost them in a massive flood which destroyed his home and all that he'd worked for, and left to wander aimlessly. fought off a demon nearly until dawn and was scouted by a cultivator. eventually became a pillar for his hard work and sheer level of dedication (hard work and dedication was all he'd ever known since childhood).
uses breath of mud, derived from breath of stone, which focuses on wearing down the enemy at a slow and steady pace while restricting movement. wields a naginata
