She was just an experiment. An experiment of her own creator and artist.

I am scared of spiders so I started to draw spiderlegs to get more  comfortable. And then I added the Legs to a human and BOOM - Akumo was  born. "Kumo" in japanese means "spider" and "Akuma" means demon. Sooo you get the idea.
