His reputation amongst his devout does not line up with his actual personality or appearance—but by this point he's let it go on long enough that he cannot course-correct. Often, if making an appearance before a follower, he must assume the personality they expect, or they won't believe he is who he says.
Actual Enki(Name TBD) is several feet shorter than his people believe, and a streamline, weasily gremlin, predisposed to mischief and as meecurial as the sea itself: but his people expect a stoic, broad tank of a man a head taller than any mortal. Enki tries not to let it bother him, but it seems to be a trend with water gods that their people never seem to get it right...
