KITHOOD (0-6)

1 month - Lightkit was born to those of a relatively decent standing - a Knight named Spottedbrook and another Knight named Goldenshine. She’s expected to follow in her parents’ and sisters’ pawsteps and become a knight herself. Sunshower and Brightharvest are her older sisters, both Knights.

5 months - Spottedbrook gives Lightkit some tips to show some skills in her early Squirehood. They practice together almost constantly, but it’s all in fun. Goldenshine worries that Lightkit won’t take her Squirehood seriously.

ADOLESCENCE (7-12)

7 months - Lightkit becomes Lightpaw. As expected from a family of knights, she becomes a Squire under the tutelage of her very own sister, Breeze[suffix]. It’s unfortunate timing, though, as a war between Barachoisclan and Bightclan breaks out.

10 months - On an outing with her sister/mentor, Lightpaw gets caught trying to hop through barbed wire as easily as they did. As she struggles, her leg just gets more and more caught up, and when she’s eventually rescued, her leg is horribly wounded and she has to be rushed to the medics. With the nerves damaged, she can’t put much weight on it at all, nor can she even feel the toes anymore. Was this Lelune’s wish for her? Rank as Squire in question. Goldenshine is distraught, unable to speak for days from pure heartbreak.

11 months - Lightpaw is swapped to an Attendant under [NAME.] Her apprenticeship is slow and hard as she recovers and learns how to walk again.

12 months - Goldenshine and Spottedbrook talk to Lightpaw about her injury, wondering if it was a message from Lelune herself. Perhaps she was destined for something else. Spottedbrook really beats in the fact that they think it’s not a curse or a cruelty from their Goddess, but Lightpaw feels uncertain.

Sagepaw seems interested in Lightpaw.

YOUNG ADULTHOOD (13-24)

13 months - Lightpaw is named Lighthopper by Whimsystar. He seems amused by it. Surprisingly, she’s specifically requested by Sagepaw as his personal attendant. Goldenshine cries with delight.

14 months - The war between Barachoisclan and Bightclan ends.

ADULTHOOD (25-32)

27 months - Lighthopper is reminded that her status can be taken away at any moment as soon as Sagesong grows weary of her as a noble by the name of Sagesong’s knight is forcefully declared a heretic and ousted as the lowest cat in the caste. She makes extra sure to hide her exhaustion when nobles are around and be extra kind with the Lord.
