- She's often referred to as a Pupgle (Pup = Wolf, Puggle = Echidna)
- She sees Sonic, Tails, Amy, Dune and Dusk as uncles and aunt and refers to them as such (i.e. Uncle Dusk, Aunt Amy.)
- Rouge has also got her to refer to her as "aunt", referring to herself when Beryl was young as "Auntie Rouge". Much to Knuckles/ dismay, the name stuck.
- Beryl prides herself in being the oldest and likes to think of herself as her younger sibling's "guardian" similar to how Knuckles guards the Master Emerald
- She's a skilled fighter
