Roark is a serious dire with loner tendencies, but he enjoys a small circle of close friends and light conversation with his pack mates. He's very guarded with his emotions, rarely speaking of his feelings even to those closest to him. The paladin can be insensitive to the hardships of others, often unintentionally; he has a tendency to come off as angry or annoyed without meaning to. A planner, well-organized and hard-working, very focused. Somewhat of a perfectionist, clean, thorough, and detail-oriented. Roark does his best to avoid mistakes, and doesn't like owning up to them. Logical and analytical.
Stern and unforgiving, radiates power and confidence to those around him. A natural leader, unafraid to dive into chaos head first and do what needs to be done. Roark is more than happy to challenge authority if he believes there's a better solution, a better way of things; this has led to more good than bad for everyone involved, in most cases. He is a very prepared and strategic man who thinks his ideas through thoroughly before acting - otherwise he risks failure, and that is simply not an option.

Summary
Realistic, and doesn't appreciate strangeness; he's unnerved by hellions & mythic beasts he's never seen before, but wouldn't dare let it show. Dutiful and on top of things, but even Roark bends the rules when he deems it necessary or beneficial. A very productive and punctual wolf, responsible and dependable. Roark is one who always prepares for worst case scenarios, and so is cautious by nature. Interested in security and a peaceful life, and is more than willing to fight to obtain that life. He's the type who would rather be friendless than jobless, a workaholic that believes in a job well done. Arrogant, holds people to high standards and does not accept apologies easily.
Roark is a very dedicated huntsman and makes his living hunting, skinning, and preparing meats. He's an accomplished leatherworker by trade, and creates his own armor sets. While battle is an interest of his, Roark's true passion lies in his hunts and in reaping the benefits of successful hunts. This has led to him being extremely judgmental towards other huntsmen and armor crafters, of course.
Design
• Roark is a northerner and as such, has thick fur and large paws to help gain traction on snow & ice.
• His paw pads and nose are all a dark smokey black.
• The man's right eartip is missing and the remnants shredded slightly, scars from a previous fight.
• Roark has various scars all over, all relatively minor.
Trivia
• Roark has a taste for otter and beaver, and hunts them as special rewards for himself.
• Has a talent for creating aesthetically pleasing but very durable and protective armors.
• truly enjoys hard work and having to work his ass off, and gets some satisfaction from being exhausted from working/hunting.
• isn't particularly interested in finding another mate, and doesn't actively seek anyone out despite wanting more children.
