Kostya

HE IS KOSTYA AND HE IS THE OC. Kostya is a shapeshifter hailing from Russia. He currently resides in idontknowwhereville with his friends and partner. He's also the worlds biggest sinnamon roll. I also bounce him in and out of TEF.

 Personality:

Lax, Optimistic Naive, Reckless, Empathetic, Generous

Kostya is ridiculously friendly and is basically always ready to play and mess around. He’s a giant ball of energy until burnt out.

While he doesn’t mind the odd roughhousing, he tends to stay away from being personally involved with serious violence.

He likes to talk a lot, but on the otherhand he’s also a pretty good listener. Even if English isn’t his native language. If someone wants to just sit down and talk, he’ll happily do so regardless of subject matter.

Tends to act before thinking in some situations.

Can be a bit immature with his humor.

Is relatively fearless to an extent. For example, he would probably go around poking demons with sticks just fine until he got himself in serious danger, then he’d get scared “okay this not good idea”. He tends to only get afraid if he’s being attacked directly; verbally and/or physically.

Other:

 Hasn’t been outside of Russia for a long time, so speaks with a thick Russian accent. When it comes to talking he’s not the greatest at English, but he tries.
Cannot speak fluent English and instead speaks rather broken English. This also means that he obviously can’t understand English very well. He knows bits and pieces but don’t expect him to know absolutely everything you tell him/when he speaks. It’s not uncommon for him to get confused both in regards to trying to understand and respond in English.

Is a talented singer/singing is one of his most favourite things to do. He also makes a career out of it, however he is not famous.

Loves to entertain others. Will take any excuse just to sing for others.
Can sing in both English and Russian. Generally what happens is he plucks out songs he likes the tune to, and if it’s in English, he gets a translator to give him the gist of the song, and he’ll sing it. He can/does sing his own songs too.
Is not open about being a shapeshifter, mostly due to not knowing how people will react. His secretive-ness about this extends to the point of his closest friends; Thomas and Jude don’t even know about it.
His eye markings give it away, but he’ll generally dismiss any questions about it as being drunken tattoos.

Fun Facts:

While Kostya won’t be at all embarrassed or phased at the most dirtiest of jokes or discussion, chances are he’ll get quietly flustered over simply being sincerely complimented on. ALTHOUGH this varies depending on who he’s with and the situation.

Kostya will stay up to god knows what time at night talking to his parents/relatives via Skype.
Semi related: He’ll often drag whoever’s around to say hi to them. (His parents are practically just as enthusiastic as he is.)
