Opening his eyes shows quite a curious reflection, one that at first seems like a trick of the light. True to form, he does what he can to uphold his status as a creature of myth; folks say that unicorns have gone extinct, that mankind has become so revolting that a qilin would never willingly show itself again. It’s hard work, but he does what he can to keep dreams of a better world alive. In his eyes, there is nothing but love.
