Phantascope's old mentor and the previous wielder of Satisfaction's Artifact! Wisdom stays reclusive in an isolated area between the Static and Rich Top Mountains where he shoots down anyone who tries to intrude in the mountains. 

Upon retrieving the cube from the former wielder, Wisdom closed the barrier to any calling aura, forbidding mages to be able to escape to the neighboring land of Moral for safety during the Overthrow of Magic. He insisted the mages of the previous regime stay and fight, but he had no intention of helping them, instead taking the artifact to the most destitute part of the mountain and making it habitable only for him and his apprentice, Conscience. The owl blasted down anyone who tried to approach him, mages and Medians alike, even tossing the unknowing individuals into the talons of their enemies for amusement. Without the Queen's Artifact in the possession of one of the war commanders for Motion, the mages fell prey to the source seers and other mage hunters and King Caliber was able to accomplish finishing the genocide of mages with the exception of Wisdom, Conscience, and the feline traveler, Phantascope. Phantascope, unaware of the full dangers of Wisdom, but trained to evade the snares and violence of Medians since he was a kitten, was able to maneuver past Wisdom's traps and be discovered by Conscience first, who insisted on Wisdom taking him under his wing.
