Jiro Hazewater

Jiro was born and raised in Balders Gate, a difficult place to be. Although surrounded by uncertainty and difficulties, he managed to get by. He jumped from job to job, taking on almost anything he could to make ends meet for his family. He eventually found himself at a church that celebrated Kelemvor; God of the Dead. It was there that he decided to follow the path of the Grave Cleric.

He began hanging out with a group of guys after work at a tea shop. At first he couldn't connect the dots, but he slowly began obsessed with this tea. His wife tried very hard to tell him that there was something wrong but his addiction caused him to become violent and lash out. His family ended up leaving, and shortly after he discovered that this tea he had been consuming was made from Moon Flower; a highly addictive substance. Having lost what was most precious to him, he went on a crazed rampage and ended up murdering the owner of the tea shop.

Several years had passed since then, and now Jiro had claimed the tea house as his home, allowing whatever criminals in to use the space however they saw fit. After living in a blur, he received word that he was needed by the Flaming Fist for an important mission. Now, he travels with an unlikely bunch as he unravels the mysteries of The Decent into Avernus.

• He strongly dislikes the colour yellow and would never wear it.
