For a sword of some renown, you'd expect someone a bit more... normal. On the surface he's far from it, being too gregarious, too loud, too enthusiastic, too unstable-seeming, too, too, too... This is a finely controlled act; his actual personality is far more responsible and stable than anyone who doesn't know him well would expect, although his battle outfit (a white suit with a long coat, a black dress shirt, and a green bow tie) should have tipped them off. His time with the Maeda clan stuck in his mind more than the rest of his nearly nine-hundred years of existence, leading him to be interested in engaging with the other Maeda swords as well as his own brothers, although it seems that none of them remember him very well. All that said, he spends much of his time in the kitchen; the cuisine of Kaga Domain clearly stuck with him as well.
Cunning • Amiable • Insightful
Cunningness may not seem like the most useful trait for a touken danshi, but, between that and his impeccable memory, he makes for a good spy. His memory also makes him great at remembering little things about the other touken danshi; when he's not using his false personality he's quite good at interacting with the rest of the Citadel. He's also talented at noticing small yet important details. False or true personality, he helps a lot in the kitchen and enjoys every minute of it. He also tends to be friendly and grows very protective of the ones he gets close to.

All the good things said, that doesn't change that he swaps personalities to get what he wants. Many other touken danshi don't even know which "face" is really his. He tends to go over the top with his more "feely" personality, not being naturally emotionally-oriented, and he ends up looking a little out there, possibly even insane. He also reacts badly to anyone talking badly or messing with someone he's close to; he is willing to say almost anything to even the score, even lording his own high status over the other.
