Historia has always loved the ice. As far back as she could remember, her fondest memories came from it. Her mother had been a skater and was thrilled when her daughter had the same love for it as she did. After school, she’d go right to the rink until she was exhausted. Historia entered local competitions and worked her way up. Her name was well known in the community by the time she reached her late teens. When Historia started winning world titles she thought it was everything she wanted. But..she felt lonely. She was always kind to other skaters and was never cruel. Yes, she had friends but very few of them were super close to her. It seemed like her only real friend was the ice. She tried to befriend some of the male skaters she often saw at events but many of them just wanted her on their arm as a trophy. It hurt her very deeply. Now she’s learned to treasure the handful of friends she does have. There are times where her desire for a normal life, a home and a family, outweighs her desire to skate. She just wishes she could have both. For now, she continues fighting her way to top titles. At least she’ll go down in history first.
