Personality;

Very timid and rather nervous. Axel grew up with a mother who was extremely smothering and refused to let him out of her sight, for the most part. He wasn't allowed to be online, watch a majority of movies, or play any video games. He hated always being at her side, but felt too scared and weighed down to ever try and leave. When he got older, however, he pushed himself to be at the top of his classes so he could be accepted into a prestigious private school several states away.

Despite being separate from her, however, Axel's overbearing mother still causes him to be subdued. He refuses to leave the school grounds under her rule and still doesn't dabble in the forbidden, such as games and movies, in fear of her wrath. He doesn't stand up for himself and because of this, is often bullied by kids at his school (specifically a group of 'alt-right' people, or pretty much Nazis, because he is Jewish).

Deep down, Axel just desperately wants to be loved and protected. He doesn't think he deserves it, however, and doesn't make any attempts to reach out to others due to a fear of being rejected.
