Hana carries two clan emblems on her clothing to represent her parents clans, Her fathers Haruno clan emblem on the end of her skirt while she carries her mothers Yamanaka clan emblem on her chest,close to her heart. Despite her parents coming from two different clans, Hana grew up with her mother clan but ever since she was young, she was not the best with following traditions. Often ignoring the tradition of having her hair in a pony-tail like many other clan members. However she did always love to work or help out in the clan owned flowershop where Hana learned all about flowers and their meanings but also what dangers they might hold.

Growing up she sometimes felt like she didnt belong in neither of the clans her parents were apart of, making her feel a bit of an outsider despite the comfort her parents tried to grant her. Like many others from the Yamanka Clan, Hana has displayed sensory abilities as well as their regular Clan Techniques such as transferring consiousness, reading minds and telepatical communication.
