Design Terms of Use
Basic usual terms apply here. Do not resell for more than brought UNLESS the addition of added art to increase its value*.
You are free to sell my designs to anyone provided they aren't on the sellers/buyers' blacklists and don't sell them to well-known problematic users.
*value should equal to the art piece. For example; A bust piece that you normally charge at $15 will increase its value by 15, and so on.

By owning a design created by me (cosmohause), you fully agree to the terms listed below. Violations will result in a report, blacklist, and confrontation depending on the severity of the breakage. So please read carefully. If any issues arise, I rather discuss it in DMs before using the ticket system. You can see my blacklist here.
i. Copyright
a) I retrain full copyright over all my artwork and designs. Meaning that I have the right to redistribute and use my own art for commercial and example purposes (i.e. commission examples). If, however, I used a base/line art to make these designs, I only hold property over the design itself and not the line art. Please refer to the base maker's own ToS if they apply!
b) My artwork and designs should always be credited to my toyhouse only. (https://toyhou.se/cosmohause) unless otherwise specified.
c) The buyer may upload my artwork to websites that protect their content with copyright. Proper credits are required.
d) The buyer may only use the artwork for personal use. Meaning that the buyer is unable to redistribute or use the art for commercial purposes (anything that earns money), unless explicitly agreed upon (note: using my art i made to make a keychain for personal usage is fine, but not selling mass unless discussed)
e) My art CANNOT be used as a tool to generate AI Art in any shape or form. Doing this will result in your account being blacklisted from buying an adoptable AND commissioning again.
ii. General Rules
a) Please do not resell a design for more than what they are worth unless they have additional extra art you either made or commissioned. (Example: buying a design from me for $25 base price. Then creating and/or commissioning art for $33 will increase the character's value to “$58”.)
However, if buying only to turn around and resell it for twice the price will get you blacklisted. I am not comfortable selling to scalpers! As a side note, art that is gifted/traded (i.e. art trades, or via art fight) should not add to the selling value of the character. But its overall base value? Sure! But not the selling value (meaning a character worth $50 may only be sold for $45 due to some of the art being from gift/trades).
b) Editing or redesigning the purchased adoptable is 100% okay! Go wild! All that I ask is that you keep its original design somewhere in the toyhouse profile just as a point of reference. (To add selling the redesign will include its original base design, you are free to sell the original design and keep the redesign though if there is a significant amount of difference. Please ask/contact me first!)
c) While I *rather* you didn’t delete my designs/art off of toy house for any reason, I know I cannot control that, same with hiding said characters for whatever reason.
d) First off: I do not care what you draw or commission of the design you purchased. It’s 100% your character now, and it is your responsibility now. All I ask is that please do NOT do illegal things (i.e proshipping content. Racist, hateful art pieces, or feral porn if the characters are ferals). While I cannot stop you, just know that I (the designer) do not support nor condone it and I will report it if necessary.
Going off from that: I'm not comfortable with proshippers, feral NSFW artists/commissioners or any of that sort of owning my designs. Do Not Sell my designs to these people, /srs.
Doing so will get you blacklisted and the proshippers/zoos themselves will be placed on a public beware.
e) As mentioned: please Do NOT use my designs for NFT, Crypto, or A.I. generated or similar practices. I do not condone nor support it. If I see this being done to my designs, I will blacklist you from further commissioning me again.
iii. The Owner May
a) Trade, resell or gift away the design at any time after a 3-day cool down of purchase.
b) Change the name, accessories, gender, and species of the design (this can include closed species! Just please do not include me in CS drama)
c) Modify the design if they so choose, if it's entirely different from the original you may resell the original design and keep the redesign, just be sure if you do this that you still credit me as the inspiration for the new design.
d) Create stories or include the design in an existing story! I do not mind!
e) Create NSFW content with the design, AS LONG as the design is an adult and at least anthro/humanoid. Feral NSFW or pedophilia content will get you blacklisted w/public beware. I do not support that shit.
f) Basically do anything that doesn't break the do not section or ToyHouse’s own ToS.
iv. The Owner May Not
a) As mentioned, do not resell the design for more than its base value (unless the design has extra art that adds to the value (i.e. commission/personal) gift, art trades, sketches and payment art do not count to this as you did not pay for the pieces.)
d) Resell, trade, or gift the design to a blacklisted user or users that do not have a toyhouse account.
c) Claim the design or artwork as your own original work, like you made it (you didn’t).
d) Modify my art without permission.
e) Clone the design to just resell (this is different from redesigning to be something different, this is creating a duplicate of the original with little to no changes and selling it).
f) Remove or modify my watermark.
