Profile

34yrs - she/her - bisexual Miss Queen is Shays mother and the news reporter for the Solaris News Network, also known as SNN. She's a tad all over the place but loves both of her sons greatly, though she at times struggles to show it. She is rarely present in their lives, either working or keeping herself from being sober to the best of her ability. She tends to stay drunk most points of the day, starting off with mimosas in the morning and moving to wine and vodka in the afternoon and evening. Being sober allows for to many thoughts, and she would frankly just rather not deal with all of that. In her middlechool years she was fairly popular! She was great friends with Vincent for a few years, though she later became best friends with Michael after meeting him via Vincents introduction. The trio frequently hung out together, forming a small group of misfits. In highschool a new girl appeared in their classroom, odd considering no one exactly moves into Solaris, most people are aiming to get out. Though the new girl was awfully pretty, with her red hair and freckles she found herself flustered around who she later learned was Columbia. The new girl was quiet and kept to herself, though Lynette managed to tear down the wall Columbia had put up around herself. The two became incredibly best friends, Lynettes house eventually becoming a safe haven for Columbia to escape to when times were rough at home. After highschool she quickly got married to one of the popular boys in school, though their marriage didn't last to long after he struck her in the face. She stayed with Columbia and Vincent for a few days with her first son, Juno, while things settled in her own home. However, upon returning home she finds her husband had gone missing, oddly she was... relieved to have some peace. She later found herself pregnant with her second son, Shay, several weeks later. While she despises her ex husband, her sons are her world, no matter their father. Several years later she gets a call recieving news of Vincents passing. His death took an awful toll on her, as she was also expected to make the news report the same day she had recieved the news of her best friends passing. She sobbed on public television and walked out during the broadcast, leaving an empty desk and chair on set. She drank her feelings to cope with the loss, yet slowly started to recover years later. Up until of course, Michael died. She felt like her life was cursed and repeating, once again expected to make he report she drank before the broadcast to get through it. She has since spiraled and these days is drunk most of the day. Her grief has overtaken her and she has no idea how to pull herself out of it, and has since given up. She only prays nothing happens to Columbia.
