Freylise Swan

An Elicinean maid who once worked in the kingdom of Bulound's grand castle.

At the tender age of two, Freylise's parents were victim to a bandit attack, leaving her homeless. She was taken in to the city of Bulound's orphanage, where she spent much of her life until recently. Given that she cannot remember her parents, she doesn't often think about them. As a little girl, she was much more fond of playing outside and observing insects as opposed to staying indoors and playing with dolls. This garnered many confused stares and ridicule from perfect strangers, but it never stopped Freylise from loving the great outdoors. On her twentieth birthday, however, she was drafted into the grand castle's maid hiring program, and suddenly was figuratively abducted from a sheltered, stable life, and placed in a far more stressful, fast-paced occupation. No longer could she go outside and look at butterflies whenever she wanted. She proceeded to become much more introverted as a result, but then found a friend in one of Bulound's best knights, Adelaide Isaacs, and her squire, Adam Burklough.

A year later, she becomes acquainted with Z.Z. Forestor II and his traveling party, and soon becomes involved with them as they try to solve the mystery behind Orkeed's demon attack. Suddenly, she felt encouraged to be her awkward self again as she begins traveling with them, finding happiness through this strange alliance in spite of the dangers involved...
