Take 3/4 of an Atlantean and add in 1/4 human you get this strange teen. Her mother had tricked her father into marrying her by kidnapping and posing as his soon to be bride. All went according to plan, until their baby came out more green then blue as planned. Before she could remember her father's true love was reunited and she was left to be raised without being told of her true parentage. 

She's spent most of her life at home in Atlantis, but now that she's growing older her parents are insisting that she also explored her 'human side'. So she has been sent on in the world and is doing her best to make her way. As soon as she was out of her father's watchful eye for even one moment Melody's true mother sought her out and told her the true story behind her birth. Now feeling like she doesn't belong anywhere she's not sure where to turn to. Talk about feeling like a fish out of water.
