Kelp

Kelp is part of a subacuatic species, and also Wakame's older brother, despite him looking younger than her.

As part of a species that spends its life underwater, Kelp is very used to having a desire to explore his big home. He is often very curious about new places, and very organized on where he wants to go next. He likes details a lot, so he has to pay attention a lot to his own plans. Besides that, he's pretty... Crafty. If a typical way of doing something is not alivable, he knows a lot of Plan Bs. And if there aren't, he will keep making ones in no time! Some of his solutions are effective, but very unpractical, such as using his maleable spit in various uses when needed.

When it comes to others, Kelp can't avoid being often a bit too smug about the knowledge he has about the world. But, at least, he is always ready to show what he knows and teach all his secrets to those who want to know more. Sometimes he can teach them anyway without the other person asking, which can be a bit too awkward (Yet Kelp doesn't care). While he is pretty friendly, he is often known as a total goofball who always tries to take a chance to mess with others. Nothing too far, but just typical mischief.

With his family and friends, at least, he's pretty nice. Well, not many of his family... He doesn't have that well of a relationship with Wakame, his younger sister, as unlike anybody else of his race, she doesn't live underwater, due to a strange fear she has. Kelp used to and still cannot believe on that fact, often saying that Wakame is a liar to give herself space, despite her permanent isolation from the family. At least, he always gets a correction by the members of his family, accepting it reluctantly.

Now that a flood has hitted his home planet, Kelp has more chance to see a few more stuff of the world of the surface, a place he did never want to go before just by lack of interest. He would gladly be investigating it by now... If it wasn't that his family gave him the mission to escort Wakame via the Arc to a safer ground. Oh, the best chances ruined...
