• her fondness for the stars + sky is seen as somewhat odd, esp for a wood elf. its not like. a divine thing, she just thinks the sky is very neat; like. shes probably memorized various elaborate celestial charts, constellations, and at least three variations of the myths that come along with them over all her years of living. even after travelling the south for probably months (maybe even years idfk How long ago the arson incident was), she still gets a little bit excited whenever the sun sets, and can probably spend an entire night stargazing

• her jewelry (star earrings + necklace, as well as her staff-thing) are heirlooms of the ilphelnodel clan; theyve basically passed to her just because she is the Only surviving member who still lives in cogorroth. all the others ditched when the plague broke out, and she stayed behind mostly because she was too stubborn and afraid to leave her home behind.
