Asena is terribly unlucky, she always finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and strange things keep happening that she doesn't understand. She tries not to let this keep her down and attempts to stay positive.
She has jumped between many homes, the last one being in a city that got utterly destroyed. She's in despair when the country she moves to becomes wartorn soon after she arrives.
