[HEE-lee AW-ruh] (like "Aura" but the "Au-" is slightly more pronounced)
A young cleric searching for his purpose in life, who traveled all the way from (a fantasy/mythological version of) Egypt. Heli's the healer and protector in Amouri's party, mysteriously full of powerful and dangerous divine magic. He also worked as Amouri's assistant for a short while before being pushed into the team as a fellow adventurer.
He mostly keeps to himself and quietly does what he's told. Next to Amouri, he's considered one of the most level-headed of the group, expressing everything he does in a mature and sophisticated manner. Though, he's HORRID at conversations. He's very shy and nervous around new people and purposefully makes himself unapproachable. Because of this, he may come off as cold or intimidating, or even awkward, and will apologize profusely for it.
Thanks to Fiery's annoying extroversion and dragging Heli everywhere with him, he's slowly coming out of his shell. When Heli's with his close friends, he's less shy/awkward and more grumpy, sarcastic, and a bit of a smartass. He gets teased (lovingly) often by his peers but just goes along with it. Although he's often calling out Keeto and Fiery on their stupid decisions, and sometimes acts condescending towards them, he loves his friends and craves the affection they give him. Though, he'd rather die first before admitting that.
Not only is Heli the most potentially powerful of his team but he's also the smartest. What he lacks in social skills, he makes up for it in knowledge, book-smarts, and overall sharp sense of observation. He loves reading and writing and expresses himself much more eloquently on paper. He's often helping Fiery with magic training and providing tips and reading material for him, but Fiery would much rather party and goof off than sit down and read a book.
After a day of adventuring, if he's not already collapsed in bed from being tired all the time, Heli enjoys a cup of tea with a book in hand, writing in his journal, and meditating or studying his religion so he can keep in touch with his gods. Heli's general interests and likes include astronomy, cats, sunny weather, minty and spicy foods, poetry, and the horror/grimdark genre in literature.

ABILITIES:
General: His staff allows him to heal others' wounds in an instantaneous but also painful process. The staff can also create a magical shield of protection (Sun God's Shield). In a dire situation, Heli has the rare ability to resurrect others, but only once per person/entity. The recipient will get a second chance at life, but afterwards cannot be resurrected by him again. Heli physically is the second strongest fighter (after Amouri), and can take a few punches and fight with brute force. But because his energy is always so low, he won't be able to keep this strength for an extended amount of time.
Combat: This is a rare occurrence where the use of a staff doesn't unleash his full magical potential, but rather keeps it stabilized. Heli is cursed (as he sees it) with the ability of powerful and destructive lightning and weather fueled by his emotions. This lightning is unpredictable and requires an insane amount of precision. Small storm clouds will form around him if he is noticeably distressed and his powers will be harder to control. With proper training and the help of his staff, Heli slowly learns to bend these thunderstorms to his will.
Special: (Eyes of Purity)
This is only used as a last resort. An ability more powerful and deadly than even lightning, he can disintegrate an enemy and dispatch their soul to the void just by staring intensely into their eyes. Everything around him in a short distance radius crumbles apart. This uses up nearly all of his energy and as a result, he passes out every time. Any destructive magic, whether it be lightning or this, used at 100% will be too much for his body to handle and may end up killing him.
Library: Growing up only ever reading books, he's very knowledgeable about both arcane and divine magic, nature (especially outer space), religion, and the history of Reemania. His peers often go to him for answers and he may also be used as the "exposition character" when it comes to introducing the lore to the audience.
Social: Even if he's not all that talkative, Heli's a very good listener and will mainly let the other person lead the conversation. With his observational skills and insight, he's able to sense even subtle emotions in others (a skill Keeto also has, but uses that for a more devious purpose, I might add). Also with his tough exterior, he can scare people or enemies off, if sometimes unintentionally.
