Palefir is usually fairly quiet among his peers. He's not necessarily unpleasant but he's not the most friendly either. It's because of this that he's hard to get to know on a deeper level, but once you do he does loosen up a bit and becomes more pleasant. He really looks up to his higher ups and admires them to a point where just talking to them makes him excited. Of course he tries to contain his excitement and conduct himself like a "proper warrior" but it's not hard to see the extra twinkles in his eyes whenever he interacts with his superiors. He completely eats up all of the poetic, cheesy speeches/advice and believes them whole-heartedly too. He usually tries to do his job as efficiantly as possible to impress his leaders.

 

Palefir's kithood and apprenticeship was fairly normal. His parents loved him at first sight and, like all parents, thought he was perfect in his own way. He really looked up to his father and once he became an apprentice he really looked up to his mentor. To him his mentor was the coolest cat he could think of even though as a mentor he was fairly average. He did however cater to Palepaw's strengths which was agility more than brute force. "A good defense is a good offense" is what his mentor used to say. One of the most notable events that happened in his life was when he injured his shoulder after falling out of a tree(which he had tried to climb believing he was ready when his mentor said he wasn't). It left a noticeable scar and proved to him, even more, how intelligent his superiors were.
