Rudy is the self proclaimed Surgeon General of Apathy, which roughly translates to her being the only person capable of performing complex medical procedures for miles around. This is actually quite unfortunate for the residents of Apathy, because Rudy is morbidly obsessed with both recieving and inflicting pain. Her equally obsessive attitude towards surgery stems from this sadomasochism, and she is well known throughout the community for harming herself and others in the name of surgical advancements.
