Cheyun is a schemer, a weaver of fates, an observer who likes to meddle. Or at least, that's how she sees herself. A quiet, unassuming jade with a friendly smile, Cheyun seems to keep to herself, living a perfect life in a beautiful cottage by a calm lake and taking daily strolls to peaceful coffee shops and reading the latest trendy magazines.

Beneath her smiling facade though, Cheyun loves to interfere with the lives of others, coordinating things just for the sake of seeing what will happen, choosing sides and skewing everything she can to her favour, manipulating as many people as she likes with no sense of guilt, using social media and the news as weapons against anything she dislikes. That isn't to say that she won't resort to physical violence however. Gifted with the power to control shadows and with a surprising level of physical strength for her dainty frame, she's happy to crush anything in her path, as she did with every single seadweller who lived in or visited her previously inhabited lake.

History

Something wasn't quite right with you from day one. You avoided the company of others, enjoyed their downfalls, exploited their secrets, and were generally a menace. After being assigned to live with other jadebloods as you grew older, you had enough, you wanted more from life. You left without even a note, disappearing into the night.
You didn't struggle as you searched the land for a new place, worthy of your presence, taking what you needed and ruining whatever you wanted, until you finally came across the place that you would call 'home'. A lakeside cottage, inhabited by a purpleblood, the lake full of various royal castes who had come to collaborate to create a place to live.
With your shadow powers, honed to a sharp point by your time without a place to live, you took them all down, moving into the cottage with such a pristine and empty lake, and not a trace of the previous residents remaining.

Abilities

Has control over shadow tendrils that she can shape and extend at will. She mostly just uses two of them, as if the ribbon around her waist was the source, but truly she can summon as many as she wishes. They are entirely solid, and she uses them both to wrap around and restrain others, and to pierce through them.
She can also disappear into shadows, as long as she is standing in shadow, she can melt into it, and move around that shadow to rematerialise elsewhere. This becomes problematic when a bright lightsource is used to eliminate the shadow, forcing her back into corporeality, although not always in the correct dimension.
