The Design
Spence is pale skinned, with choppy short hair that was once blonde, but his natural purple tinted hair color has begun to grow back in. His hair was once short, but it's grown out enough that he pulls it back into a half-ponytail. He's got red underneath his eyes, and they're typically half open.
He's surprisingly stocky, with strong legs; likely from his constant wandering. He can come off a bit messy or dirty, being more of a nomad than anything else. He also hates shoes, opting for his socks and sandals combo.
The Personality
Spence is one of the most chill people you could ever meet. He's the epitome of slow and steady wins the race!
Realistically, it's probably due to all the pot, but that's ok! Spence is noted to easily talk with anybody, but bounces off other extroverts best. He can come off as, well, stupid, which only really shows how he struggled in school.
He didn't have many aspirations growing up, and honestly just traveling around suits him best! Maybe one day he'll find what he wants to do. Maybe not, but that's ok, too. He's a positive sort, who can see the silver lining in any situation.
All in all, Spence is happiest with his closest friends, rather than at a large party or by himself.

The Past
Spencer Montoya- Spence though, please- was born on December 4th, though not a resident of Denali Isle where the story takes place.
Truth be told, Spence's childhood was nothing out of the ordinary. He has a mother, father, and an older brother and younger sister. While he never caused trouble, his choice in friends was a disappointment to his family. Spence doesn't blame them though, I mean, he made the choice to drink and smoke on his own.
Once he turned 18, his parents tried to convince him to go to school or get a job. In response, he said he'll just find something else to do. It was admittedly quite the downer being at home, knowing his parents were disappointed at him all day. He ended up scrounging money up and buying himself a ratty old motorhome and has been living out of that since then.
Eventually he meets Elijah, a boy a bit older than him, but a personality that perfectly suits him. The two hit it off and end up deciding to travel together, just enjoying the other's company. Now that it's summer, they decided to visit Denali Isle- a noted island that's popular with tourists and campers for it's campsites, hiking trails, swimming holes and the like.
