Mitsue Kato

Trace is highly regarded by her coworkers, the sort of bright spot any agency would be happy to have. She's the perfect senpai, always ready to pick up slack or help out a coworker. To be fair to them, at one point Mitsue really was that person; but for years now, this friendly personality has been an act. After an incident late in her high school years, she lost all faith in the hero system, and since then has had no bigger goal than revenge. This break led her to extracurricular activities as a vigilante - someone who, unbound by the law or hero code, can simply kill villains that cause too much trouble. Unable to trust anyone else, she spends much of her time planning alone, tirelessly working towards her own idea of justice, questioning everything and everyone around her. Living this double life is exhausting, however. Under the facade and the grit, Mitsue is incredibly lonely, and struggles to find any real joy in her life. Because of this, she is incredibly biased towards people and things that remind her of times before her life went so sideways.

Her quirk, Brightline, lets her draw lines of fire with her fingers. She can extinguish these flames and re-light them at will within 5 minutes of drawing them, as long as she remembers their exact location. Only her fingertips are fireproof.
