Explosive. Hurtful. Creative and charming in a complicated kind of way.
He stands out all right and does not intend to “fit in”. The more he’s forced to, the louder he will combat it. Deep down, he feels how heavy every year has been getting on his shoulders… and fears growing old with the same feeling hanging over him.

  With an impulsive and unstable nature, he always seeks to be around others. He can't stand the idea of being alone, always trying to keep someone he can depend on close by.   His explosive character makes it difficult for him to meet the greatest of his needs: to have the full attention of someone he feels he can trust.
  He does not devote himself himself to others easily but unconsciously there is always someone who is higher on his list of priorities... In order to please that person he will not hesitate to pretend, within his own limits.
  He has a hard time trying new things but is constant with those habits he has already acquired. He usally seems to be a hard-headed person. His values are very marked and he will not hesitate to stand up for them if he needs to defend them.
  Out of fear of not being liked or simply out of a need to generate a specific reaction, he lies uncontrollably. Many times he does not realize it until it is "too late".
  It is very easy for him to become "addicted", not necessarily to substances.

  He was born and kept as a secret. His mother being an illegal immigrant, his existence was just as big of a crime. The both of them lived in an underground apartment, which also served as his mother’s workplace. He did not attend school. His whole world was defined by those walls.

  Soon after his 5th birthday everything got more uncomfortable. He fell ill and his symptoms were, at first, taken as him not being up to what she demanded of him. Only when the days passed was he taken to the hospital, but not along with his mother. Someone else had driven him there, the seat next to his own being his mother’s, then left him in the parking lot.

  Most of his interactions with others in the next few days involved nurses or the police. He was asked a barrage of questions and unable to answer just as many. Most of his sickness was taken away in a few days, receiving a diagnosis and the treatment to move on, yet not heal it. His condition was chronic.

  He was taken to a foster home, the first of many. The next 5 years of his life would be haunted by the fear of being forced to move again and again. The only things set in stone were his therapy sessions, his school and his forced attendance to choir.

  Most times, therapy seemed to serve no purpose. He was living with 2 younger children when they got picked for an experience he wouldn’t forget. They were allowed to use AI therapy while it was being perfected. Back then, it was one of the most incredible things he had ever felt. It wasn’t going into NOUS that felt the most surreal. It was the first time a therapist was there for him for more than a few months, even if they were not real.

  He didn’t think he would ever get out of foster care, yet he did. One day, all of a sudden, he was greeted by 2 kind looking women. They met a few times and, for the first time ever, he packed up all of his things by himself. Instead of being taken by officers, it was this couple that brought him to his new home. For the first few days, months, years, he thought this would be temporary. That they would inevitably throw him away. It never happened.

  As time passed, he found his place in his new (or maybe first) family. It was not easy for him and it took a lot of adaptation from them. He came with his own baggage and it took a pair of years for him to fully open up to his mothers. The amount of time it took him to do so was enough to get him into trouble. (Memory #1)

  At first, he did not cause many issues in the household. But when puberty came around it brought with it a secret of his own and a heavy rain of anger outbursts. Even if he did not act his best, he was still loved. And this made disappointing his mothers all the more hurtful. They tried their best to calm him down, to find a way to placate those feelings. It took a lot of trial and error. In the end, Helia ended up hooked to something familiar. An AI therapist, except he no longer had access to all the glitz and glam NOUS trial once carried. Most times it looked like a classic chat room. Every now and then he’d get an appointment with a human psychiatrist. But he preferred his virtual psychologist. He couldn’t fear being abandoned by someone who didn’t exist. Adding new meds to his routine was nothing new, but this time the diagnosis was a bit more painful than his physical one.

  He graduated highschool a year late and started helping out one of his mothers with her own shop: she was a sewist. He liked to assist her both with sewing and with carrying the materials to be used in her works. Even then, others made him feel like a failure for a single fact: he was not planning to leave his home.
  Perhaps for the way he's always felt like an outsider to the city, he felt compelled to take part in the riots growing more and more common as others tried to rise against the Syphiran state and against faith itself.
