  •  About
It is incredibly rare to find Endriaga apart from Phaios; it can generally be assumed that if she is not beside her companion, she is in a nearby tree.

Formerly trapped as a deer, Endriaga has returned to the Forest in her truest form: a small dragon. She is bathed in red from head to toe with the exception of her underside, which borders on a pinkish beige. End is generally a vain, cocky little thing, and frequently seeks to make others "pretty" like herself by turning them red. Most deer do not like this, so she is quite thrilled when she finds anyone who appreciates the finer color in life. Conventional speech eludes her; rather, a bird-of-prey or gator-like set of screeches, hisses, clicks, and coos compose her vocabulary. She does, however, comprehend "deer words" spoken to her. Only able to speak mentally through her link with Phaios, who often acts as her translator.

In general, she makes a nuisance of herself and readily joins in a bit of rough play at someone else's expense. Despite her love of the color red, however, she will withdraw at the first sight of blood or fighting and watch from a safe distance; she is not the sturdiest dragon, and more often than not will avoid physical conflicts if she is able. She's the hit/harass-and-run sort. This reptile walks to the beat of her own drum, and is unlikely to listen to anyone but herself (although Phaios holds some sway over her actions).

Fire Breath
Capable of breathing a ~4-inch flame, hot enough to cause second degree burns. Able to sustain about 10 seconds of continuous flame before depletion, and full regeneration takes 30 minutes to an hour.

Hot-Blooded
Blood ignites and smolders when exposed to air, and may cause burns or set susceptible surroundings ablaze.

 Dust
Very fine powders released from pores under her wings. Stored in sacs as a liquid which turns solid immediately upon contact with air, similar to boiling water sprayed into subzero temperatures. Once it has made contact with a body or the ground, it becomes inert and rapidly loses the ability to induce their effects. Categorized by the color associated with each powder. Capable of producing two doses of powder at a time; takes several hours to regenerate after depletion.

WHITE DUST
  • Effect:
Contact with the surface or membranes of the eyes will cause stinging and temporary blindness. Contact with other areas of the body has no effect.
  • Duration:
30 seconds - 5 mins (depending on quantity of powder in eyes)
  • Biology:
Contact with tears causes the powder to congeal and crystalize into an opaque film on the eyes, simultaneously causing blindness due to the opaque layer, and a burning sensation as the eyes dry out. The quantity of powder making contact with the eyes determines how thick the layer becomes and how long the effect lasts.
GREEN DUST
  • Effect:
Upon contact, the affected loses consciousness without cataplexy (that is, they remain as they were positioned the moment they lost consciousness). There are no lasting after-effects.
  • Duration:
Approximately 30 seconds, or until the affected is touched.
Thicker fur may delay the onset of effects until motion works the powder through the hair and onto the skin; can also extend the duration of effects by acting as a slow-release mechanism.
  • Biology:
Transdermal absorption of a chemical which blocks neural messages (loss of consciousness) and induces a temporary paralysis (freezing in place)
BLUE DUST
  • Effect:
Upon contact, the affected will feel rather sluggish and find it harder to move quickly. Speed, damage potency, and ability to doge is reduced by approximately 50%.
  • Duration:
    1-2 minutes.
Thicker fur may delay the onset of effects until motion works the powder through the hair and onto the skin; can also extend the duration of effects by acting as a slow-release mechanism.
  • Biology:
Transdermal absorption of a chemical which slows neural transmission
BLACK DUST
  • Effect:
Upon contact, the powder creates a burning sensation which rapidly spreads from any areas it initially touched until it covers the whole body. No physical damage is dealt, but the sensation is intense, like a thousand red-hot needles pricking the skin.
  • Duration:
Once full coverage is reached, the effect lasts about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Thicker fur may delay the onset of effects until motion works the powder through the hair and onto the skin; can also extend the duration of effects by acting as a slow-release mechanism.
  • Biology:
Something about over-activation of the nervous system
RED DUST
  • Effect:
Upon inhalation, the affected loses the ability to absorb oxygen for a brief time. They will feel short of breath initially, and after full effect (within approximately 30 seconds) will begin to feel as though they are suffocating (an additional ~30 seconds). As the powder breaks down, oxygen absorption is gradually restored and the affected will gradually feel normal again (over the course of another 30 to 90 seconds). Total time elapsed from inhalation to full recovery will not exceed three minutes. There is no lasting damage, and death is highly unlikely unless there are extenuating circumstances. Loss of consciousness is possible depending on the quantity of powder inhaled, duration of effects, and amount of exertion by the affected. This powder is inert outside of the lungs, but does have a bitter taste if inhaled through the mouth.
  • Duration:
    No longer than 3 minutes.
  • Biology:
A two-fold process involving the physical blockage of the lung's alveoli by the powder, and a reduction in hemoglobin/oxygen binding in the blood due to a chemical within the powder's substance. The chemical is rapidly metabolized by the body (within three minutes of inhalation), and is otherwise non-toxic. The powder's physical blockage does not last longer than one minute, and is dispersed/dissolved by the time the chemical begins to take effect.

The Bond
Phaios and Endriaga share a special mental and physical bond. They can speak to each other mentally regardless of distance, which makes Phaios the only one capable of translating for Endriaga. When one is wounded, the other receives an equal wound on her body; if one were to die, there would be dire consequences for the other. For this reason, they both guard one another fiercely and have grown extremely close. Endriaga also has an increased healing rate which carries over the bond and heals Phaios as well; this makes them both quick healers, although more serious wounds can take a good deal of time to heal completely and lingering scars, lameness, and other problems are always a possibility. Endriaga must be inactive/resting a majority of the time in order for this accelerated rate to take effect.
