Naku

Biography

Nakuzar, an unlikely monster; once a normal elf and now an uncontrolled shapeshifter. While his soul may not be monstrous, his body is, which is what most people in Nym'tha'lo would see. While the fallen nation has quickly been populated with many different monster folk, the native elves have a fearful misunderstanding of most of them, When they see Naku and his crawling body, which constantly shifts from pulsing colors to black, many become fearful. To most, he is one of the violent monsters, on the same level as the violent werewolves ravaging livestock, or the succubi who feast on unsuspecting men's souls. But he isn't more than a constant shifting mess. 

His body struggles to keep its shape, and requires constant focus and magical energy to maintain a stable state. Often he'll sprout scales, his skin tone will flicker, maybe some eyes sprout up... that is, when he is focused on keeping his humanoid form. But, when emotional, weak, or frightened, his body will contort and shape like an amoeba, parts turning bird, rat, lizard, fish, anything without any real meaning, but somehow undulating in a pattern which reflects his feelings. He can take on any form, as long as it is no smaller than a mouse, and no larger than an elephant. His body can shift into any form of biological material he is aware of, and can consciously focus his mind to mimic things he knows. And his constant shifting cells makes aging an impossibility. 

However, his body requires magic to sustain itself, and his innate elven magic is not powerful enough to sustain it. If he does not get enough energy, he could shrink into a small, amorphous blob, and if he cannot eat or drink to sustain himself, he will eventually die. To combat this, he had made a pact with a succubus so they could both sustain each other.
