Story

Brutus first appeared on November 17th, 1928. That day he would receive his first black eye as crazed fans bombarded the stadium for the first time, nearly tearing the place apart in a frenzy to get in. A helpful hand would ice his face, this person being Charlie, the Boston T, the two would go on to be best friends, playfully referred to as brothers at times by others.
By virtue of being a stadium, Brutus got into boxing and wrestling; enjoying the other sports as well but to him, nothing compared to being able to use your own brute strength to win. He would become a full-time boxer in 1930. In 1937 Brutus meets and falls in love with Florence Gray a human woman who was a local reporter he met while being interviewed. They doted on each other for years until WWII began, Brutus, like many other men, joined to support their country. When the war ends he and Florence are reunited, the two of them married as soon as they could.

In the '60s, Brutus found his view of the world darkening, the Vietnam war beginning in 1969 only opens up old wounds for him emotionally, fearing leaving Florence again and seeing more friends die. He successfully dodged the draft due to not actually having real documentation of his existence. His worries returned in 1972 when it was officially announced that a replacement garden had been approved.
From 1992-1995 Brutus watched as his replacement literally rose above him. When it was finally finished he met Teddy, the manifestation of the Fleet Center. In the beginning, he completely resented Teddy and was actively hostile towards him. This lasted for a while until Teddy finally stood up for himself and knocked it into Brutus's head that it wasn't his fault that he was made. He would make it up to Teddy by taking him under his wing and fixing his reputation amongst the other landmarks.
Brutus, being the proud man that he was, didn't want to die by the hands of construction workers. After saying his final goodbyes to Florence he drove out to the pier to go out on his own terms.
