Simone says she doesn't need anyone.
Disowned in her youth, with a history full of crumbled and wispy friendships, Simone has made her peace with solitude. She lives for herself, provides for herself, the only person she needs to make herself happy is she, her, and herself. Oh, and the ghosts.
Simone is a medium: she can see spirits. Ghosts abound who have things they miss in life or unfinished business, and she helps with these favors in exchange for boons: the lost wallet of someone who would gift her dinner, a winning scratchcard, the final ultrarare sticker in a set she was collecting, or a jacket just her size and style in a box lying by the side of the road, just to name a few. The errands she runs for them provide for her whole life; she even takes calls from the living (for a price) who claim they have a haunting to see if there's any truth to it and find more clients.
When she's not working, she spends most of her time skateboarding, either at the park practicing tricks or teaching herself to dance. She's a good cook, and she loves stickers; everything she owns has a few. She also has a secret guilty pleasure affection for blind box animal figurines, especially dinosaur ones. She likes reading about paleontology and occasionally checking out exhibits at the natural history museum. She has a small collection of fossils she's found while out on hikes, and a few arrowheads she's put onto cords. She's adept with knots and likes making parachute cord trinkets.

Simone is afro-latino and short, about 5'5", so please don't draw her tall (or thin or whitewashed.) She has muscle under her frame, but she is most definitely FAT. Do NOT draw her thin.She has stretch marks on her stomach/arms/thighs.
