I was having a really good day at the county fair, I was selling my stock like no tomorrow, I was almost out of candles. I found a box of discontinued candles in my truck, I thought to put them out, I saw that one of the candles was a sandalwood one "Huh, odd. I thought all of these got sold out. I'll put it out anyway" As I came out of my tent I saw the most handsome lotl I had ever seen, my heart buzzed with love!
He wanted to purchase one of my beeswax candles. As I was coming out of my tent I saw him, and my heart buzzed! I asked him what he would like and he sheepishly asked for a sandalwood candle and I had just the one he wanted! He then proceeded to introduce himself and I just got lost in those beautiful eyes of his.
He was so charming and he offered me a walk around the fair, and since it was my lunchtime I accepted! We delivered some honey to one of the candy stalls that love to use my honey in their products, we got cotton candy as a thank you!
I'm so blessed to be engaged to this gentlelotl. He always loves to wear the daisy chains I make for him!
So here I am, at the county fair during a wonderful summer day, I was in the mood to buy myself a new candle and as I looked around I saw a stall with the sign saying "HumbleBee Farm, Honey, Candles and other beeswax products!" I thought to myself "Perfect!" And approached the stall.
The adorable vendor was still in the tent, maybe looking for stock to put out, her stuff was selling fast. I browsed the table and saw she was out of sandalwood candles. Then she finally came out of the tent with some candles in her arms. My heart was struck!
I introduced myself and enquired about the candle, and by perfect chance one of the candles she was holding was a sandalwood candle! I bought it straight away and offered to walk around the fair with her during her lunch, and I'm so blessed that she accepted! We had to do a quick errand by visiting a candy stall and giving them some of her honey. We got free cotton candy as a thank you!
After some months we totally fell inlove and I popped the question "Batavia my honey, will you marry me?" You should have seen her jumping for joy as she said "YES, YES, YES, YES, YES" over and over. It was adorable!
She makes these cute daisy chains for me too! I love wearing them!
