Carissa puts ballet, beauty, and popularity before anything else. She pushes herself to always be "instagram-ready", even when at home in her pajamas. She is almost obsessive with her hygiene, and tends to spend money on beauty products she doesn't need. She has her hair dyed professionally, and uses a lot of products to keep it thick and soft.

Though she doesn't see it herself, Carissa has a very "leader of the pack" personality. Throughout high school she was one of the most popular girls, and had a lot of students that looked up to her. Despite this, she never felt like she had anyone she could truly rely on. She has been doing ballet since she was a toddler, and has always felt that it was her one true passion. She's very competitive, which wins her lots of competitions, but not very many friends.
