Daya started going to concerts when she was young, and instantly fell in love with the entire scene. When she turned fifteen, she started using her allowance money to take vocal lessons, hoping to become a singer. She's made amazing progress over the years, but struggles with putting together a band. Right now, she just does covers of songs on youtube for a little bit of money, and continues to go to concerts and try to make connections.

Recently, she's gotten into a somewhat local band called Snowasis, and made friends with the singer. She has a bit of a crush on him, but he's going through a lot and she mostly just wants to be there to help him as a friend.
