It is very apparent that Monty has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, though it’s hard to discern if that’s his natural demeanor, or caused by years with his partner. Very sharp and very efficient, Delmont is a man who yearns for rules to be followed, and for everything to stay in order. That isn’t to say that he’s a cold man, but he knows what has to be done and will put that in front of everything. He’s capable of smiling, but those are few and far between.

⚔ The result of a stray land mine, Monty is missing his right leg and often uses a prosthetic and a cane to get around.

⚔ Completely blind without his glasses, and always has them on up until he goes to bed.

Prosthetic Leg

Monty wears a handmade prosthetic; a prototype created by a tinkerer of metal and cogs. It can take a lot of damage and offers him a tiny bit of movement, but has a tendency of wearing him out after a day. It needs frequent care though, and Wanda often has to sit down with him and help.

Eye of the Marksman

For being just a fisherman's son, Monty became quite adept at using rifles. They're his preference in a fight; he lets Wanda get up close to an enemy, while he finishes them off.

Studious

Monthy is the smart one of the pair, and is the one to usually work on gathering information and pouring over books. His knowledge and thirst for new discovers is invaluable to their team.

Family

Monty comes from a small fishing village, being the only son of hard-working parents. They were grateful that he was too young to join the army; he was their only son, and they didn't want to lose him. But when you are a teenager, sick of a life of hard work, lying to join the army seemed like the grandest idea. He's seen them on and off over the years once he was discharged, but much is never said. Monty wonders if they're ashamed of him, or more so, scared of pushing him towards another horrible decision.

Quirks & Habits

⚔ Both Wanda and Monty dress for comfort and ease of movement, but Monty will admit he is a bit more vain with his looks. He always looks utterly clean cut, with finely pressed shirts and a crisp tie. There's also a large fondness for bespoke shoes, which he manages to go through a large amount of. With their line of work, it can't be helped!

⚔ It's quite common to see Monty with a bit of pink to his nose; he complains often about the cold, and his nose shows it.

⚔ Underneath his left pant leg is a number of scars down his thigh and knee. They've faded with age, but it's easy to tell where each piece of shrapnel from the mine entered.

⚔ Has a pet basset hound named Henri, who has been in his life for many years. He's the perfect companion after a long day of running around cities and hunting monsters.
