Profile

Dragonspeaker is the speaker for the clan. This is effectively the leader, though there are some differences. As Speaker, Dragonspeaker is said to be the voice of the stone dragon from which she was named. Her job is to communicate with the stone dragon through visions sent to her, and use her voice to tell it's knowledge. She helps to lead the clan on a path to safety and prosperity. Unlike a regular leader, speakers are not guaranteed 9 lives, and instead if their death is deemed to be in the service of the stone dragon they may be revived and earn a scale. The specifics of speaker's deaths are rarely spoken about, and are hard to understand what qualifies for revival. (122 words)

-------

Dragonspeaker is a intense cat who is loud and ferocious when it comes to defending her morals. Her sense of right and wrong can be confusing to others, as she seems to uphold a moral code not quite what others expect. She believes that killing another cat can be justified if their morals are harmful to the clan as a whole, and that there is nothing wrong with pushing others out if they get in the way of what she believes to be right. Dragonspeaker isn't a mean she-cat, she dearly loves her loyal clanmates and would die to defend them and her home from what she believes is evil.

Dragonspeaker, known as Dragonspirit, was Listener to Monarchspeaker, basically meaning she was second in command to the speaker, or leader, of the clan. She was quite proud of her role, but soon grew fury in her heart against Monarchspeaker. Monarchspeaker was a smart cat, but did not value their clanmates as Dragon felt he should. Monarchspeaker would divide cats hierarchically and those higher up would get more prey and rare herbs would be saved for them. Kittens were judged to their potential value and their fate was decided without their input. Dragonspirit, despite having a very high position, publically and loudly disagreed with this until she was eventually exiled due to her violence towards those who argued with her. Monarchspeaker thought tossing her over the wall would be plenty to keep her away from causing harm to his clan, but he was not aware of the fact that Dragonspirit was one of the few cats proficient with climbing the wall without assistance. She snuck back over and killed Monarchspeaker without him having a chance to fight back, and declared herself the new speaker. This fractured the clan, dividing it into prime camp (those who support Dragon) and the Loyalists, who either supported Monarchspeaker or are against Dragonspeaker's takeover (318 words)
