1. Maybe start Nira off with a gentle smile? Particularly looking in the direction of Liana's flower (see the info above on Liana's icon!) I could see her leaning back and blinking and making a sort of :0 face as the flower appears, as well as both of her ears perking up. In general I think she'd look very curious. I can also see her horns sparking/flaring up a bit more (almost as if it's in tandem with her curious surprise), and if her other, scarred eye is visible, it can also open very, very slightly, with a few little starry, misty sparkles trailing from it before it shuts again. She doesn't really have an actual complete eye under there, it would just be depicted as a pure "void" of trailing magic mist!

2. As Liana gets flustered, Nira's expression changes to one of worry and concern. Nira's own magic begins to activate more prominently in the form of a sparkling, starlit mist- similar to the magic from her eye previously, likely drawn similarly to something like the mist drawn here (pulled from your own comm examples --> Reference with starlit flair similarly to something like this accessory --> Reference 2 but obviously in movement rather than in still!

3. Nira shuts her eyes and bats her ears down, with her horns perhaps flaring up one more time as she does this. The mist begins to dissipate, and Nira seems more relieved now that Liana seems to relax once more. She gives her a smile and the loop plays out once more. Additionally, about the mist, I think it would be cute if it was actually Nira's tail that flicked it away in the background, as her tail is very long! I can see it peeking through in the context of an icon here :D
