Komainu Sigrun | ♂️ |JellyBean Dragon
A divine protector created by the gods to be the perfect protector of the shrine he was placed at. He's known nothing else than his work, patrolling the borders of his shrine, protecting those in the spirit realm and those in the mortal realm. Though at a time, something manifested in the heart of the shrine, a being's heart.
Eir's heart manifested inside his shrine when it was torn from her body. He had no idea who's it was until she showed up at his shrine and tried to retrieve it herself, though it would not merge with her. Her heart is now forever inside the shrine he protects.
An adamant protector, he is imbued with the aspect of the Shield, or some call it the aspect of Protection. He is blessed with endurance to no end, and an extreme sense of needing to protect anyone he comes across. This includes his now romantic partner Eir.
Stories have been woven about Komainu, some say he's a spirit, some say he's a god himself. It's seen as a blessing to witness him on his daily patrols, and it will bring you good luck for some time. He also has been known to roar every time the sun comes up, and people who hear it, take it as a blessing. His feet have become calloused and worn, as he has spent his entire life patrolling and protecting.
