Maun was born to scientist parents that worked as part of a church, he was raised by their maid for the first two years of his life. She taught him to walk, talk and anything else she could, showing pride in how well he spoke as well as how quickly he'd learn.

It was in seeing how smart he was his parents took him off to their labratory too do experiments on him, they started off simple trying firgure out just how smart he was, Maun often saw them simply as games which made him happy since his parents were finally paying attention to him.

Over time the experiments got worse they started to test serums on him wondering what they'd end up doing to him, they aways recorded what they discovered seeming pleased and offering him treats when something worked, but punishing and berating him when anything happened to go wrong or at least not the way they were hoping it would go.

Once they'd done all the tests they felt they could do on him they offered him to another scientist called Marius, he took an instant liking to the then fourteen year old Maun and quickly had an idea of the tests he wished to perform on him. One of which ended up with him having white dove wings for a while, another one which had a permenent effect was very painful for him as the change it caused Maun's body made him feel like he was drowning. Once the change was completed he found he had a hypnocite voice, he could suggest things to people and they'd end up doing them.

Over time the power of his voice grew his singing became etheral and he could draw people to his side, the down side was the often felt such strong desire for him they try to rape him. At age 18 his power reached its peak and he found himself finally able to hold some control over Marius nearly gaining his freedom, this sadly was short lived.

Seeing how much his power had grown and fearing what he'd created Marius used a drug to paralise Maun's vocal cords, he also sewed his mouth shut and branded a giant cross onto his throat to warn people never to help Maun gain back his ablity to speak, with his voice stolen from him Maun was finally raped by Marius who take great delight in doing that to him for over a year before throwing him away like disguarded doll not caring if he lived or died.
